![]() If a participant changes their country setting to a country not included in the Participating Countries at any time between participation to send-out of the prizes they will be disqualified. The remainder of the top 100 participants with the best individual score receive 1,000 (one thousand) My Nintendo Gold Points each. The 10 participants with the best individual Tourney score each receive a prize of 2,500 (two thousand five hundred) My Nintendo Gold Points. Matches which start during the event period will count towards the Tourney score even if they finish only after the event ended. Participants can play an unlimited number of matches during the event in order to improve their Tourney score. Players can confirm their individual Tourney score within the Game at any time during the event. The Tourney score is a rating of the individual player’s skill, based on their match results factoring in the relative Tourney score of the opponents in a match. Participants try to achieve the highest Tourney score. Tourney score is a rating only available for exclusive events in the game. The event tourney can be accessed from the main menu within the game by selecting “Online”, followed by “Official Tourney Qualifiers”. In order to participate, a player needs to have access to the Game on Nintendo Switch, and must use their Nintendo Account to finish at least one event tourney match within the Game. ![]() No distinction is made between types of membership, whether any type of paid membership or a free trial. The Nintendo Account must have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership. ![]() To participate in the competition, players need to have a Nintendo Account with a country/region setting for one of the countries the event is available in. In order to ensure a good game play experience for all players, players from regions of great geographical distance to central Europe (such as the Azores, the Svalbard archipelago and the continental Asian part of Russia) are not allowed to participate in the event and are blocked from entering the event through technical measures.
